The Retrospective Claims Review is a look back at claims submitted
during a previous period, usually 12 to 18 months. The paid prescription
data is imported into the AUDITRACK© System and reviewed. Depending upon
the data fields submitted by the client, up to 18 data fields are analyzed
for Error, Waste and Fraud. Historically, Retrospective Reviews will produce
Recoverable Funds of 1% to 5%.
